Support for your goals

What every business owner wants

Almost every owner we talk to wants the same three things. Our work is built around them.

01

Your time back

We take the books off your plate, so you can spend that time on your business and with your family.

02

More money in your business

We clean up your bills so you stop paying late fees, and bring your receivables current so you get paid on time. That means healthier cash flow.

03

A business that grows

We help you budget, manage cash flow, and plan ahead, so your decisions are based on numbers you trust.

No spreadsheets in a drawer

Many bookkeepers hand you a stack of spreadsheets. If you can't make sense of them, they end up in a drawer. Or you take them to a board meeting, try to explain them, and it doesn't go well.

We do it differently. You get a dashboard that shows your numbers at a glance, and Penny walks you through what your reports are actually saying. You'll understand your business, and you'll be able to explain it to your board with confidence.

CFO-level advice and dashboards are included with our bookkeeping.

Many firms charge extra for this kind of guidance. We include it, because we believe every small business and nonprofit deserves it.

Penny was instrumental in helping me get Cactus Flower set up from the beginning. She handled the bookkeeping for the business and helped make sure everything was organized and recorded properly as we got the business up and running. She also provided bookkeeping support for Mecca Plaza.

Having Penny handle the bookkeeping gave me confidence that our financial records were being properly maintained and allowed me to focus more of my time and attention on running the businesses. She was knowledgeable, dependable, and always willing to answer questions and help when needed.

I would highly recommend Penny and Streamlined Books to any small business owner looking for someone they can trust to take care of their bookkeeping.

I had the privilege of working with Penny Visser for several years while she served as CFO of her organization. During that time, I came to rely on Penny not only for her extensive financial knowledge and expertise, but also for her sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity.

Penny had a tremendous understanding of the financial side of her organization and was able to take complex financial information and make it understandable and useful when making important business decisions. She didn't simply look at the numbers—she understood what they meant for the organization and used that knowledge to fund organizations in the community that would do the most good for children.

What stood out to me most about Penny was that her financial decisions were always guided by what was best for the mission. She wasn't simply managing numbers; she was deeply committed to making sure the financial decisions she made supported the needs, goals, and long-term success of the organizations and the children in their care.

Looking back on the years we worked together, I have a great deal of respect for Penny's knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to the organizations and people she served.

I would have no hesitation recommending Penny to another business owner. Anyone who works with Penny can feel confident that they are working with someone who understands their finances, cares about their success, and can be trusted to do the job right.

How do I get started with Streamlined Books?

Consultation

Does my business really need a professional bookkeeper?
If bookkeeping is taking time away from running your business, your accounts are not being reconciled regularly, or you are unsure whether your financial reports are accurate, professional bookkeeping can provide both time and clarity. Good bookkeeping also gives your CPA, lender, or financial advisor better information to work with.
